DEFINITIONS & SCOPE
Transaction count is the total number of verified purchase transactions under each merchant's descriptor during the window, all channels. Whole Foods bills under its own descriptor and is not part of Amazon for this market. Growth is the percentage change in each merchant's transaction count versus the prior-year Labor Day window.
RESOLUTION METHOD
The merchant with the highest year-over-year transaction count growth rate wins. Resolution requires a minimum of 10,000 qualifying transactions per merchant. In the event of a tie, all positions are refunded in full.
